This is an editor for the DK10 from AlternateMode (aka KAT Electronics). The
DK10 is a 10 pad MIDI trigger, which is completely configurable by tapping
pads, but this editor makes it far more simple. Please consider this version
an 'beta' release, as I am only working on bug fixes.
There are multiple versions of firmware in the DK10 (1.3, 1.4, 1.7, and 1.8) and
currently I only support 1.3, as that is what I have. The new versions look to
have some new features added and once I have access to the data I need, I will
add support for those.
All major features are complete. Aside from bug fixes and support for newer firmware
revs, there are no other features that are planned. Please email me with feature
ideas and bug reports.

Bug Fix: Play Curve, Bass Pedal Curve, and Current Kit were
being sent incorrectly. This is fixed now and your patches should load
correctly.
Feature: Added preliminary MIDI support. Due to lack of UI space these features
are being put on the System Menu (the menu that appears when you click on the upper left corner
of the application). The two options are 'Configuration' and 'Send'. When the features are complete,
I will redesign the UI to allow consistent access to all options. The Configuration option allows
you to define which MIDI in and out ports to use. These are not sticky (ie. they need to be set each
time you run the app, but they will be sticky when things are complete). The Send option will send the
currently loaded patch to your DK10. |
